Trophy time for our training and conference centre team

Congratulations all round as the Kents Hill Park kitchen team take five out of nine Senior prizes at the Conference Centres of Excellence Awards.

When you’re catering for one of the largest dedicated training and conferencing centres in the UK, you have to make sure guests and delegates have their mind on the business at hand — not their rumbling stomachs.

Sweeping to success

That’s why we’re immensely proud of the whole team looking after Kents Hill Park’s customers. At the recent Conference Centres of Excellence awards ceremony, they came away with five out of a possible nine prizes.

And when you think that these are the most prestigious awards in the industry, it shows you just how impressive Kents Hill Park’s multiple wins really are.

Meet the champions

Following a daytime competition, the awards ceremony revealed our category winners, including Nicholas Harry for Best Starter and Paul Mott for Best Cocktails.

The pair also took the top three prizes of the night — with Nicholas winning Champion Chef, Paul claiming the title of Foodservice Champion and the dynamic duo working together to win Best Team.

“To win five out of the nine categories is brilliant!” says Chris Clarke, General Manager at Kents Hill Park. “High praise must go to both Paul and Nicholas — who always go above and beyond — as well as all the staff who work tirelessly at the venue to deliver high-quality service.”

The awards show just how much pride the Kents Hill Park team takes in creating a great dining experience for everyone. It also provides a showcase for all the dedicated people we work with across the UK to make sure every one of our customers can enjoy exactly the same level of service in all of our restaurants.
