Let’s take a moment to talk about dream destinations. Everybody’s got one. Is yours a vast sun-baked beach? Or a rocky cove, gulls shouting overhead and sea air filling your lungs? Is it a calm countryside retreat? Or a neon jungle of fun? Perhaps it’s arctic mountains glowing under the northern lights in the middle of a long polar night?

If that last suggestion catches your eye, we’ve heard of a place that could fit the bill. According to Guinness World Records, the Radisson Blu Polar Hotel in Longyearbyen, Norway is the world’s most northerly full-service hotel. The hotel is located only 1,333km from the North Pole and looks after Svalbard archipelago travellers surrounded by stunning glaciers and sparkling fjords.

Dog-sledding and snowmobile safaris are just a couple of the outdoor adventures on offer and Arctic wildlife sightings include reindeer, polar bears, walruses and seals. As wild as the setting can get, the hotel provides plenty of space to relax and enjoy some comforts. Daylight adventurers can get cosy in the pub and you can enjoy a menu of home-cooked fare, prepared with love for visitors and locals alike; or feast on arctic specialities and international favourites in the restaurant.

Now, we might not be able to get to the North Pole but we can get to every corner of the UK, and with such a mixed portfolio of offerings, you can be sure that whatever type of service you want; we have the expertise and experience to deliver it, quickly and seamlessly. We’re always pushing ourselves to bring the best, most innovative product and service to your door, so if you’re based in Lands End or John O’Groats, our world-class supply chain gives you great service at a fantastic price.
