Tea at The Palm Court in The Ritz London is the height of elegance.
The dining room alone is a masterclass in sophistication: flanked by high walls of gleaming mirrors; under a ceiling of intricately-woven gilded trellis-work; lit by the glow of romantic birdcage chandeliers adorned with ornate metal flowers; boasting a striking stone fountain inhabited by large gilded statues; and glorying in a soaring centrepiece of vibrant flowers.
It’s the setting for a meal so famous it’s become an institution in its own right, the quintessential English afternoon tea. And like its setting, it is theatrical: diners chatter elegantly while immaculately presented waiters glide among their tables, invisibly delivering and removing delicate chinaware and gleaming silver tea services. It is a beautifully choreographed ballet accompanied by delicate arpeggios that waft evocatively around The Palm Court from the grandest of pianos.
With a selection of 16 fine teas, carefully cut finger sandwiches and a selection of delicate cakes, sweet pastries and warm scones, guests are spoilt for choice. All of this is made using only the finest ingredients and prepared with the utmost care.
These high standards do not come easily. A lot of hard work and care goes into ensuring the experience of afternoon tea at the Ritz is consistently exceptional. The measuring of the sandwiches. The precise way of laying the table. The exact temperature of the tea. It’s rigorous.
Striving for consistently high standards is something that we here at Eurest take seriously too. We work behind the scenes to make sure that you get the service that you deserve. We’ve crafted every aspect of our operations to make sure that you’re completely satisfied, and we’re committed to making sure that you have a great experience with us time after time.
